Parties, parties, parties!

As we are winding down the school year it seems like last week was nothing but one big party!  Landon had his end of the year party on Wednesday, Maddie had hers on Friday and Saturday morning we had Landon's little party for his soccer team.  Whew!  Landon was excited about his school party because it was at his friend Drew's house.  They had a "splash" party...a little pool, slip-n-slide and a small blow up water slide not to mention the unlimited access to the playroom inside!

Maddie couldn't wait for her party to get here.  Mrs. Robin(her teacher) and Mrs. Ruth did a great job planning this one!  We met at the fountain at Eastern Shore Centre and then walked over to Build-a-bear Workshop.  A little chaotic with 2-3 year olds but they were so excited to pick out their bear, name it and stuff it.  The kids were given 3 options of which animal they wanted and unfortunately Maddie chose what looked like the one that they were trying to get rid of...ha!  As you can see below it is a big brown Jonas brothers dog...I knew she would go for that one.  And his name....Diego!  Yeah, not sure about that one!  After all the build-a-bear excitement, we headed back to the fountain to eat and play some more.  She had a blast with her two best buds Lola and Sam!  Thankfully memaw and pawpaw were able to come down to keep Rylee and Reagan.

Landon was excited to see what the fountain was all about.  Not too many showed up from his team but he had fun and of course we had to take the twins and Maddie too.  He received his little "medal" which he is proud of.  Memaw and Pawpaw dropped by to see the kids.  Reagan wasn't quite sure about the water(she was sleepy though) but Rylee didn't hold back.  She loved it!

To Orange Beach and Back!

This past Wednesday we headed to Orange Beach for the Bedsole Family Vacation!  I think we were all ready for a little relaxation and well overdue!  We stayed at Phoenix on the Bay and very well worth it, especially for the kids!  It had a lazy river, splash pad, several pools and a slide...and yes adults can go down it too!!  We even got meme on it.  The weather for the most part was beautiful with the exception of a thunderstorm one afternoon.  Unfortunately the storm brought a little cooler weather so the water was a tad bit colder.  Nonetheless, it was good food, good fun and well spent family time!

The following picture is just funny.  We were all trying to get ready so we could go out to eat at Lulu's, as I was getting Maddie out of the tub, which took all of maybe 10 minutes....Landon was so tired he decided to fall asleep in the tub.  The sun just zaps you!  A big THANK YOU to my sister-in-law for the shirts she made the kids.  We tried our best to get a picture of them all together, which seems to be rare these days.

Look what I can do!

The twins are definitely becoming more vocal here lately- alot of jibberish with momma, dada, bye-bye and heard Reagan the other day say uh-oh!  And like always I can't get her to do it again!!!! Of course they are testing the waters with their skills!  They are loving their new found independence but heaven forbid you let "mom" get out of sight.  Rylee seems a little more content just entertaining herself but Reagan....she's the clingy one, for now anyway.  They both can pull up, Reagan doing a better job than Rylee.  Reagan will walk while holding onto your hands.  Rylee was the first to crawl but doesn't seem to concerned about getting on her feet...definitely not upset her sister is "outdoing" her!  They both like to stick out there tongue...I got a pic of Reagan.  Rylee likes playing peek-a-boo.  They love their bath time and when you go to get them out they turn the other way...quite funny!  Rylee and Reagan, unless hungry or sleepy are mostly smiles all the time....especially around Maddie and Landon who can always bring a smile to their face.  Maddie can always calm them down by singing, usually Jesus Loves Me and Landon, well just by acting silly!  I'm always amazed at the interaction between my kids and feel very blessed to have such precious children.  But of course...we all have our moments!!!!
Finally got their hands on the diaper bag!

Disney on Ice

A few Saturday's ago I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Maddie and Landon at Disney on Ice in Mobile.  Grey stayed home with the twins... I don't think he minded!  Landon and Maddie had a good time and saw just about all of their favorite disney friends!
