A day with memaw & pawpaw!

What a beautiful day Tuesday was and even better with a visit from memaw and papaw!  We enjoyed most of it outside in the sunshine.  Rylee and Reagan even enjoyed their lunch outside!

For all the things that my parents have done for me, Grey and the kids....and continue to do, I wish I could by them the world, but....a dinner at Original Oyster House will have to do for now!  Wow, what a trade-off!  I'm still waiting on my inheritance from my long lost uncle(ha)!!!

Meme's 50th celebration!

  We had the pleasure of spending this past weekend in West Point, Georgia for meme's (grey's mom) 50th birthday celebration.  Katrina and Brad were gracious to have us all over....and we had a good time!  Things didn't quite get off to a good start.  We were planning on going over on Thursday, leaving at 3pm but with Grey's work it didn't happen as planned.  Since Grey didn't get home until 5:30 there was debate on whether making the 4 hour drive (losing an hour)or just waiting until Friday but....I was packed and ready to go.  So much to his dismay we hit the road arriving at 11pm that night.  We were surprised to have meme, poppie, and nene waiting up on us when we got there.  For the most part, the kids slept the whole way so it took some time to wind down after getting to Katrina's!  Meme wanted to eat at Niffer's in Auburn since she had never been so we ate there Friday night.

Each morning we had what seemed like a "smorgasbord" for breakfast, thanks so chef Katrina.  We all gathered around the island...don't we all look like a ray of sunshine!!!

Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL day so we enjoyed some of it outside.  That night was the REAL party with hamburgers, hotdogs and cake!   And it was all yummy!  And if you are wondering why Maddie isn't in any pictures....she was in one of those moods and just wouldn't cooperate!

Reagan is crawling!

Ok, so I'm late getting this posted!  Reagan decided she wanted to crawl last week.  I thought she was gonna be the slow one, only staying around where the toys were but....she's EVERYWHERE too!!  Needless to say, it's quite different with two on the move!

I have been able to "drop" their noon and afternoon bottles now so it has become a little easier to manage.  We are making the transition to whole milk which so far they have tolerated pretty good. Reagan is doing very well with her cup...she needs no help; Rylee on the other hand....I think she is emerging as the "lazy" one!  Since the daytime bottles are gone they enjoy a snack in the afternoon as you can see!  They are getting more and more table food.  This week they have eaten spaghetti and chicken/broccoli casserole and mac-n-cheese.

Ha....to those of you who thought Landon was never get a hair cut....here's proof!

And boy does it make him look grown!  He was very proud of his "do"....said he was a good-looking man!  Do you think he heard this from his father?!?

Sunshine, family, and...

We are so thankful for these warm sunny days!!  It has been nice to finally get outside and do something.  Rylee and Reagan love their stroller ride and I think like riding period!  They had their first ride in the "pink jeep" with Maddie behind the wheel...and I think Boots enjoyed it too!

 We have welcomed the sunshine and several visits from family.  Last weekend poppie and meme came to spend a few days with us.  We have a small lake in our subdivision that you can fish out of and so Saturday morning Poppie, Grey, Landon & Maddie headed that way.  I joke with Grey that he probably didn't get the memo that there are NO FISH in the lake but ...he did end up catching two so I was wrong.  I think that may be the only two in there!!!  Can I say puzzles, puzzles, puzzles. Not that we didn't have enough already(dozens) but of course poppie and meme had to bring some more...a box with 8 puzzles in 1 and very SMALL pieces.  I think we put together every puzzle we had that weekend!

 This doesn't happen very often, but can you say WORN OUT?!

Rylee and Reagan are slowly being introduced to table food.  Rylee more than Reagan is accepting of it...Reagan always seems to make a funny face whether she likes it or not!   We had pizza one night and decided they needed some too, so they had there first taste of the crust.  I think they both enjoyed it!

 Rylee is everywhere now.  She seems to always end up in Landon's room.  Reagan is thinking about crawling finally....she is rocking on all fours.  So for now I just carry her where she wants to go!!  What will I do with two everywhere, geez!

My dad(pawpaw) usually goes fishing on Tuesdays, so while he was fishing we enjoyed an overnight visit from memaw.  She was able to get some baby love too!
